WELCOME PARTY!

Here are some photos of one of the many WELCOME events we experienced here in Thailand. Everyone is so kind and welcoming, they go out of their way to show you how pleased they are to welcome you into their community. I came out here thinking I would be surviving off rice and water (extreme, I know), but I couldn't have been further from the truth.  We were taken out for lunch and dinner every day for the first few weeks, our mentors were so excited to have us there so arranged everything and wouldn't let us pay for anything; being wined and dined every day is a very difficult lifestyle to adapt to as you can imagine..! This was at Emma's school, the teachers invited all of the ETA's in the area and presented us with flowers, the school band and of course a trusty karaoke session!
