THE WAX CANDLE PARADE

Seeing as my director is some sort of local celebrity, he invited Emma and I to attend the annual candle parade- a huge festival in the city to present handmade candles to Buddah. We got picked up at 7am and taken for breakfast in a nearby hotel, then escorted (literally) to the VIP stand and got seated next to the ex Prime Minister of Thailand, soooo surreal! The whole thing was filmed and aired on local TV, and my director was the MC for the entire event!
